On the Edit sidebar, find the AI Model panel, and update to the desired model in the dropdown.

Which model should I pick?

Each AI model:

excels at different things

has a different personality

has different per-message limits and total usage limits.

Tips:

Pick the model based on your use case.

Tweak your prompt to get the best results on different models. A prompt that works well with one model might not work well with another model.

**Total word limit in metaGPT apps is calculated by adding the words in the user input + the prompt + the AI-generated output. For chatbot apps: add all the words in the full conversation history + the chatbot prompt
