Image Generation API

Currently limited to Pico apps (doesn’t work with MetaGPT and Chatbot apps yet)

To get started, go to the APIs tab and click the “Image Generation API” this will prefill your edit prompt with the text “Use <<image-generation-api>> to …”. Now, instruct the AI on what the prompt should be.

Prompt example: If you want the image prompt use the text from a textbox and always look like a painting, say something like “When Generate button is pressed, use <<image-generation-api>> to generate an image based on the prompt in the textbox. Append ‘Pierre-Auguste Renoir, French Impressionism’ to the prompt. Display the generated image below the button“

Data

Images are currently not stored by us. Our image model provider Replicate may store images for some period of time.

Monthly Usage Cap

The monthly usage cap resets at the start of every calendar month (e.g. on February 1st). Your cap is determined by your pricing tier. On higher tiers, we also support pay-per-usage. Please see the Pricing page for the most up-to-date information, and feel free to contact support if you have any questions regarding pricing.

What happens to my app if the monthly usage cap is hit? The API will stop working and a error message will be displayed to the user. If you’re on a Premium or Business Tier and have requested additional images on usage-based pricing, the monthly usage cap will not be hit and you’ll be billed for additional images over your tier limit.
