Remixing enables you to clone an app, host it at a new URL, and modify it as desired. This powerful tool can be used for several purposes:

Customize a pre-built app.

Create templates and reuse them for each new app you build.

Test changes to your app without disrupting the live version.

How can I remix an app?

Go to an app (for example, this one) and click on the “Remix with Pico” badge.

For your own apps, click the 🔽 button next to the app name if you have the app open, or in your My Picos list, click on the “…” icon and then, click on Remix.

Can I remix all apps built on Pico?

Remixing of apps is only possible when it is allowed by the app creator. Creators have the option to enable or disable remixing as they choose. However, you can always remix your own apps.

How can I prevent other users from remixing my app?

If you are on a paid plan, access your app settings and select the "Remove Pico branding and disallow remixing" option.

Keep in mind that when you are on a paid plan, only you and those with whom you share your app URL will be able to access it. Therefore, even if you forget to check this box, nobody will be able to find your app to remix it.
